Columbus, Ohio.. Story By Michael Goins…The Ohio State Universities basketball teams have been beating up on Historically Black Universities and Colleges during this non-conference basketball season. The Lady Buckeyes started with a beatdown of Tennessee State University 78-51 and the men followed suit with a whipping of Jackson State University 85-41.
The women are back in action this week with a matchup of Howard and will wind up the HBCU tour with a game against Southern.

For these schools, however, these matches represent revenue that they need to keep their programs viable. The payday these schools receive can reach into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
